FAQs

1. What happens in the first session?

The first session is a space for us to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out, many people arrive simply knowing that something doesn’t feel right. We’ll talk about what you’d like to work on, what you’re hoping for, and whether my way of working feels like a good fit for you.

2. How long are sessions and how often do we meet?

Each session lasts 50 minutes and usually takes place weekly at the same time each week. This regular rhythm helps create continuity and safety as we begin to explore your experiences in depth.

3. How many sessions will I need?

There’s no set number, everyone’s process is different. Some people come for short-term work focused on a specific issue, while others find longer-term therapy helpful for deeper reflection and change. We’ll review your needs together as therapy unfolds, and decide how we move forward together.

4. Do you offer online or in-person sessions?

Yes. I offer both online sessions and in-person sessions in London. Some clients prefer the flexibility of online work, while others value being in the same room. We can discuss what feels best for you.

5. How much do sessions cost and how do I pay?

My standard fee is £80 per session. Payment is made by bank transfer before or on the day of our session.

6. What if I want to pause or end therapy?

If at any point you wish to pause or end therapy, we’ll talk about it together to ensure we close our work in a way that feels thoughtful and contained. Many clients find that reflecting on their progress before ending helps them recognise how far they’ve come.
